My husband brought this home from an estate sale and of course I fell in love with it! I have looked probably at 7,000 chairs on line and can't find one similar to it. We don't know what kind of wood it is and there are no markings re: manufacturer. It has two wheels on the front legs and it looks like the uphostery is original. The carving on the front is authentic and not "glued" on.

That is a great chair. Has somewhat of an Art Deco look to it. I haven't found a good source for art deco furniture, but if I do, I'll come back and let you know.
