Weird 'bottle', open at each end, Gripurell or Gupurell is written in the glass, along with the word 'ounces'. Any idea what it was used for? I found it in the garden along with lots of other old bottles, the garden seems to have been a dumping ground!

I believe it's an old baby bottle.

Probably way too much information in this article - but it does show an old bottle. We have a few "diggers" or old bottle members, and I hope one of them comes by to see your bottle, and any others you would like to post.

      Welcome to CW Sue.

Could you try and put something over the letters, like black washable marker for instance, so the letters would be readable?
      Thanks very much.
