These are two in a grouping of four total images. All depict George R. Foulke of West Chester, PA.
The baby picture is from OCT 1865 and depicts George at the age of 7 weeks. I really like his baby blanket and the way he is sleeping on the photographers chair.
About a year later, his Mom went back to the photographer and had three other photographs made (I would guess that she wasn't happy with the first two). In this one you can see Mom behind the chair holding him upright for the photograph.
The period pencil identifications and tax stamp date really enhance the images. It is ashame that these didn't stay in the family.

You are probably correct Pop.
I also have three different CDV views of his sister-- all taken in OCT 65!
