We just picked this up at a yard sale. Ordered some new tubes in hopes of it working. Right now it has a bit of a "heartbeat" sound. We aren't sure the year or value of the player but we really like the looks of it. Also, we were told that it pre-dates 1966 due to the tubes. Any information from anyone else would be so helpful! Thanks.

Thanks for the input! Ordered a set of new tubes, fingers crossed it solves the problem. Anyone have experience with this?
