Another of my weaknesses. Art Deco Dinanderie. Most WMF (WURTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK) you see is in the Art nouveau style. The Art Deco pieces are scarcer. This little piece, 4" tall is stunning. Abstract designs, in various applied metals. Never seen another except in a book.
    Enjoy.

      Hi vetraio50.
Yes, this piece was designed in 1931. Can I ask what Art Deco pieces you collect?
    3. Thedecoguy Thedecoguy, 8 years ago
      Sorry, 1925.

Hi, I began collecting Clarice in the early seventies. All of it has gone. Deco was my major collecting focus but I am eclectic. I pick up things cheaply. Funds have always been scarce. 'Beggars can't be choosers' my father told me and it has been my fate. So I am not a true collector. If I have a piece of something then that is normally enough .... I don't need to have multiples. So I have some Deco Daum, Lalique, Stuart, local Australian pottery, Loetz, and some other things posted here on CW. I had ne of the Ikora dinanderie pieces twenty five years ago but it to has gone. Regrets I have many, believe me.
