Looks like half of an inter-com system......just a wild guess..
Your intercom was manufactured by Connecticut Telephone and Electric Co of Meriden, Conn. The intercom was shipped from the manufacture two to a box. you are missing a small metal mouthpiece on the front of you intercom. As far as value not a whole lot around $10.00 ea. complete.
