My mom bought these chairs as a set at a garage sale in northcentral mn about 15 years ago. If you can't read the sign it says they came from a church in mn and they are from the 1800's. In researching the furniture of the period, i believe them to be hand carved and made of oak. Possibly gothic? My mom originally paid $200 for the 3 of them. Can anyone verify my info or give me more info on them? I also believe they are worth more than $200, but I'm not sure how to find that out. Please help! I sure would appreciate it!

The one with the arms may well have been for the priest. The two without arms for the altar boys. From memory three altar boys was unusual.
