    (2 items)

These were thrown out in a house clearing. I saw them sticking out in the snow. The glass is broken on both. I posted them on a Chinese art website and told prints. I think they are both paintings. I see no sign of them being a print. Looking for any information someone might have.

The one on the left might be of Tiger Shrimp.

Yep, looks like that to me too. Do you have a jewelers loupe? If you do, take them outside, in the shade for the best light and look closely to see if you see 'dots'. If you do, then it's a print. I am not an expert by any means about this but I was told that is how you will know. I also know sometimes it's very hard to tell. Is that a 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other kind of answer??? It does look like they are on silk and rice paper.

Wow, you better take them to check if they are authentic Qi Baishi paintings. If they are, it worth millions!!!

Thanks Efesgirl, shareurpassion and Canberraman. Sorry it took me time to get back but the flu hit me. I think they are both real paintings. It would be nice to find a fortune in the garbage but I think they are copies. The Chinese copy the master artist all the time to practice. Finding a real one would be like winning the lottery. He did paint in New York which is not far from me in Ottawa Canada so I guess I could keep dreaming.
