This is a unique piece because everyone I ask has no idea what it is other than "a Religious Pendant" I keep asking the same question what is it made out of or what is it called it's some type of inlay but?

The shiny bits are probably pieces of foil under a layer of resin.

I can't tell you what it's made of -- I'd only be guessing! -- but I can tell you that the front (obverse) depicts Our Lady of Guadalupe. This strongly suggests that the medal is of Mexican origin.
