Here is a sign that was given to my signifigant others' brother, by his father in law who worked for the CA highway commission back in the 40's! It's so cool to look at and touch!! Really in great shape too!!! He asked them if he could have it when they retired the signs, it's porcelein, and has those stone like things that pop out, *( for the life of me can't think of their names!) but you know, like those early STOP signs have. Mike has found a few.

MOST PEOPLE CALL THEM MARBLES. THIS IS A GREAT SIGN AND THE ONES WITH THE MARBLES ARE BECOMING REALLY POPULAR. WAS AT AN AUCTION YESTERDAY WHERE THEY SOLD A RAIL ROAD CROSSING SIGN LIKE THIS AND IT WENT REALLY HIGH. AS FOR SARAH, SHE'LL HAVE A REALLY HARD TIME FINDING SOMETHING THIS. NOT TO DISCOURAGE HER, BUT THIS IS PRETTY RARE!!!
