I found this little Heddon lure in an old tackle box with other late sixties lures. The small tag at the split ring is stamped "Heddon." It is a metallic finish with some hints of red. I can't find any reference to Heddon spoons. It reminds me of a Michigan made lure called the "Swedish Pimple." If anyone has an actual name for this neat little minnow, I would love to know what it is.

The body looks very close to the "Spoony-Fish" by Heddon - 1930s, but those had a single hook through the body. This one certainly looks more modern - but the Spoony was a gold body, fish shaped spoon, with the scale impressions on it. Nos. 490, 590, and 790. Hope this gets you on the right trail.
