    Hello all!

I'm brand new to collecting thimbles. Found one by accident on EBay, loved it and bought it. After that, of course I was hooked. What is the best way, sites, etc to learn more about the thimbles I purchased as well as thimbles in general? I'm eager to learn more now ????.

    Thanks!!!

Hi-welcome to CW. If you search thimbles on this site, there are several listed. I had posted some porcelain ones a while back. Also, I think that by searching EBay auctions is a good place too-you can learn there too. The ones you have are pretty-is the first one silver-any markings?

Thank you! Yes, it's silver. It has a serial number stamped on the inside. From what I've found, it was made in Mexico in between 1900 and 1940. And, the decor is applied by hand. All I have been able to discover so far.
