This vase has been in California at my parents home for the last probably more than 40 years. My dad bought it somewhere in Europe- but I don't know where. It's in excellent condition. It's never had water in it, it has no chips. It has markings on the bottom, as you can see. I need help identifying.

It's lovely. They were talking on Antiques Road Show about the kind of numbers you have on the bottom of the vase. If I remember correctly, they're making notes about the type of glaze, firing times etc. Wish I remembered more - I'll have to look it up.
The red marks are, as you know, very difficult to read. Is there a way to re-post some photos the right side up?
Your lovely vase is by Royal Bonn.. here is a link showing you the mark..you will find more and the history if you Google the name..:-)

Hi thank you for the answers, so much! I'm not sure how to reply other than in this comment box and I'm not sure if you'll see. I'm new here. To Gillian: I need to understand better what you mean, how to take the pictures. I certainly can but what do you suggest?
Wow Inky -I just clicked on the link and I see that somebody had a price of 595 for one, which is so interesting to me because when I inherited this piece it came with notes that said it was valued at $900. Now this was back in 1999 I think. I recently had an offer of $200 but I don't feel like that's enough. I'm not sure I want to part with it anyway but it's good to know more about it.
Inky - Did you know about the mark already - or did you research it? In any way, it's brilliant!
