    This was early when considering a "Boom-Box" It's not the typical picture that pops into your mind; But still, These were very popular in that other companies rushed to meet the demand when Emerson "Hit a home-run" with this model. Today, In Bullhead City Arizona, we still have the annual Boom-Box parade where everyone tunes their radios to the same station for two hours :)
