    My family got this in Germany in 1975, and we understood it to be about 100 years old at that time.

    I'd like to know more about this clock. Era, style, etc. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate it.

    ALSO! I'm looking for keys to wind this clock. I've been looking for years with no luck.

      Clock keys can be purchased at http://www.timesavers.com They have a large selection
      for all maker of clocks.

      Ajdepriest, what you have is a wall clock.Grandmother clocks are the same as grandfather clocks except are not as tall.I own two of each.check out grandfather clocks on this website.

      Oh! Thanks for straightening me out on that.

      I don't think I've ever seen a true "grandmother" clock then. I'll have to look that up--I've only seen the tall ones.

      Hi,
      This wall clock is German, but it would 1900-1920. It is also made by Junghans, a very popular German maker in the 19th and 20th century. Lovely and thanks for sharing, this clock is certainly worth getting a key for!
