On Saturday August 14, 2010, I joined a couple of friends from The Rock Poster Society (trps.org) for a visit to a gym/art gallery called Body Tribe, where, for a bunch of years, Paul Imagine (he's the guy in the mohawk on in the photo at far right; http://www.insurgentarts.com/) has spearheaded a rock poster show.
The show featured work by Ron Donovan (seated in the photo at far left) from The Firehouse (http://homepage.mac.com/yosquirt/PhotoAlbum7.html), Jimbo Phillips (2nd from left; http://www.jimbophillips.com/), and Alan Forbes (that's Justin McNeal of Secret Serpents in front of Alan's work, 2nd from right; (http://secretserpents.wordpress.com/). Also on hand, but not pictured, was Alexandra Fischer and Lindsey Kuhn.
I picked up a poster that Jimbo created for a show featuring the Mermen. My 19-year-old son declared it "awesome!"
