    I received this Hotchkiss No 1 clone from Poland, but otherwise don't know anything about it. Is SPLAW the company name? The model? Who knows! (but seriously, if you do please tell me). It has a very intricate base, the most intricate I've ever seen on a small strip stapler actually. I just love the craftsmanship and detail that were put into this otherwise utilitarian object.

      I remember seeing some similar at my dad's office in the 50's. They're heavy duty, built to last.
