Found this at a yard sale a few months ago and picked it up for $50. Had it cleaned, and the lights changed out to the cool blue LED's. There is a lot of information out there on Marantz units as a whole, but very little on this particular model. I gather it is a rather rare amp/receiver. There's a ton of stuff on the 2285B model, but not the non-B 2285. The company that cleaned it up and installed the lights (paid $85 for the service) offered me $1000 for it. They said the wood case alone goes for $200. My college roommate back in 1981 had a 2270 so I have always wanted a Marantz.
