Is there any collector value for a 1896 vintage Wedgewood wood burn cook stove built in Newark, CA by JAS Graham and sold to the Darling family from a San Francisco Appliance store in 1896. It is complete and in very good condition. How and where would you get a appraisal on the west coast, I see a lot of places on the east coast?

I do not know where to tell you to go for an appraisal of your stove , but I can say it is a very nice stove and it is in very good condition . I love it . I also know that there are people out there that would love to own such a nice stove . I have a wood cook stove , but it is nowhere near as nice as this one .

I used this company in Dec. to get info & appraisal on my stove. He is in BC, he has links on his site to US appraisers as well. Well worth the few dollars spent.

I have the exact same stove! Just starting research in order to sell. Will look into appraisal sites. Any suggestions for the Northern CA area?

Dave has recently purchased the largest library of stove related trade literature in North America. Dave charges $6.00 per stove for copies. Please include photos and identification with your order.

I have no connection to this guy, just providing some info, good luck!
