Included for your enjoyment is a portion of my cola display, as part of a larger display of acl sodas.
A Polar Cola from Salem, MA...1948.
Nutri Cola from Las Animas, Col... 1947.
King Kola, 1939 from Granite City, Ill.
Dukes Cola from Kansas City, 1943.
And Globe Cola from Madawashka, ME...1954.
These are some of my newest discoveries...part of two cases of odd ball, not often pretty, detective work causin' cola soda acls in the display.
Some of the brands I have covered one city/county of distribution. Small. No wonder we never heard of them, until we see them for the first time.
How exciting...even though they are ugly.
