This 3" wing was a popular gift to the sweethearts of Army Air Corps pilots during WW2. The wing is marked "Sterling Craft, By Coro" and is a nice patter with the painted shield detail and the glass "gem" embellishment.

The back has a pin back just as most of the military wings of the period.

    Thanks VikingFan.

There are many variants of sweetheart wings out there-- I'll post some more next week.
