This Old Seth Thomas is a very large wall clock. Very hard to date, but was told by my Father when I was very little that it came from a New York court house. Any help with dating this would be appreciated.

Forgot to say the outer rim is brass, but very tarnished and don't want to hurt the clock by using the wrong polisher to polish the rim.
Thank you for your reply, and no rush and thanks again for your feedback. Have a great trip:-)
It's what's refered to as a "Gallery" clock. They were made for large public spaces. Here's a link showing several. Just hit the next model button to see them all... I'm thinking it's from around 1900?? http://antiqueseththomasclocks.com/Seth-Thomas-0486.php
Toolate2,
Thank you for the research and link. That definitely is the same Seth Thomas clock:-)
