This Delegate Badge was made for Members of the Massachusetts Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) who were delegates and attending the Boston reunion.
The MASS state seal has been expertly cut into the face, with white and blue enamel to highlite the brass base.
The Boston pin has red enamel work.
This a desirable pin back from the early days of the GAR.

Wow Scott! That is one beautiful old piece! I love the early reverse enamel work. What an outstanding old piece. Chip
Thanks badges-- the enamel work and engraving are both well done.
