I received this sign in the early 80's from the Queens, NY hardware store where I worked. It was and still is in the original packing crate. Still works too. Not sure of year. Dates on both tags end in 9, but is it 39? 49? 59?

If you have the original transformer, it is dated on the ID plate.
great idea. I have not had the original transformer for many years. I typically don't lose things, but I have no idea what happened to it. I have a different transformer now.
it must be fairly old early 60's or before because the green tag predates zip codes that is a really nice sign too!
