I am totally obsessed with finding a lot of things but a current fav is the Kosta Boda snowball candle holder. I think they are so cool. I now have four, but would like to have enough to have snowball fight.
I picked up the candle holder on the left this week. The bottom third looks like the snowball, but the top looks like icicles, plus it is ridiculously heavy. What do you think? Kosta Boda? New obsession?

I scrolled through pages of lovely KB last night. I found this guy one time on Feebay. The owner claims it is KB, igloo. I am not sure, all the igloos I saw had squared "drips".
Bellin 68, you crack me up too. We are not far from each other as I am in Chicago. Your team is kicking some rump this year.
Scandi, you rock, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I had that feeling in the thrift that it was just right. You know that feel...
I am now totally and completely insane for KB.
UPdate. Took a look at the Polaris but the votives look like melting ice cubes. (super cool) I don't believe Polaris is right...unless I missed something. Still hunting.
Thanks for the love PDAM!
Hi AmberRose, I just came across this posting and thought I would shed some light on the subject! It is called Polar designed by Goran Warff. Polaris is an Orrefors votive. This Polar votive was introduced in 1977 and was retired in 1992. Great find!
I rescue Ann Warff snowballs from flea markets and car boot sales. I think I have six at the moment and usually pay no more than a pound for them. I should open a refuge for them :). I used to have a beautiful Goran Warff bowl which I am kicking myself for selling a few years ago when I was too daft to know any better. :)
So I am not the only one obsessed by Swedish glass! We need to form a help group.
Okbusa, can you post the link?
FBoy, If I had a dollar for all of the things I regretted selling or giving as presents I could probably fly around the world first class!!
You are such a good friend. I would have all intensions of giving those cool votives then accidentally giving her last years fruitcake instead. (hee hee)
LOVE those candle sticks. Dang it Scandinavian, you know I am a woman possessed and you dangle those lovelies in front of me! Iittala is moving onto my crazy radar. Tonight I will post a picture of an Ultimate Thule serving bowl I found last week and have been holding out on you.
Yep, madness.
