It was in the early 70s and I saw this phone and just wanted it. I worked, back then, for Bell of Pa. I was an outside technician and only seen one candlestick phone on the job. There was no ebay or craigslist back then. I saw this phone, left the store and came back and bought it. It was a Western Electric rotary phone that was converted into a lamp. It is a sharp lamp, every time you lift the receiver the light will go on. I really enjoy all the phones and signs you list. I have subscribed to the collectors weekly. You guys do a great job in given us an out let to show our prize collections.
