By request, here's a mold I found this in a old garbage pit in the woods behind my near 100 year old house. Unfortunately, I only found the one side, but it's been a favorite in my collection since I was a kid. The property used to be a farm, so there are a few such piles around. If you take a metal detector back there, the thing goes off every few inches! This didn't have any iron in it, so it fared pretty well. I found an old old cast iron... iron, but it was a big block of rust. We got it cleaned up so you can sort of see the old marking on the top of it. It is currently serving as our door stop :P

Very nice. Too bad you couldn't find both pieces. I happen to have these two figures, which are part of the ones my Dad cast as a kid.
That is so cool! If I had both sides I would have melted down some fishing weights and had some with this a long time ago.
Hey just cast some half men to stand in the background!
