My 1977 50 watt Marshall combo cracked a plastic corner protector. That's when I noticed someone had spray painted this amp black! The original tolex is fawn-a rare custom color. I began the painstaking process of stripping the paint back to original. You can see the missing corners in the first image. I used Peel Away twice for the first stage of stripping, then went over to acetone to get all the left over paint in the cracks. You can see the end result on the back panel on the last image. Right now the amp is being assembled with a new grill cloth and new plactic parts. I will post the final product soon...
