I recently inherited this 93 in. X 58 in. (5x7) Indian rug. It was my Grandfathers favorite because of all the red in it. I know it is very old because my mother recalls it as long as she can remember (she is 78) It was on the floor in my grandparents home for many many years, it shows very little wear and a few stains. This rug is made 100% wool (i think) and is very thick compaired to many I have seen, I cannot find this perticular pattern anywhere and I would like to know more about it. Should I have it cleaned? and how? Is it Navajo? if not what? How the colors are made? and possibly it's rarity and value. I would appreciate any and all info.
