All I know is that this is a World War One era postcard from Sweden. It appears to depict a captain. I have other similar postcards with the same man. They were all sent to a John Atley who is usually referred on the postcards as a Lieutenant in the USN. Some of them are addressed to Guantanamo Bay and others to Massachusetts. Any help identifying the mysterious captain or John Atley is appreciated. The only hint I have to the captain's identity is that he may be the writer who is "Simon" on one card and "Saul" or "Sam" on the rest.
