I do love Strombergshyttan stuff, but it is so difficult to date it! It is hard to tell when they were made. Some designs look really 30s and ArtDéco-ish and it's known Gerda Strömberg started designing for her company in 1933, the very same year she and her husband Edvard created it. Also, apart from some pieces designed by Gunnar Nylund is really difficult to identify the designers: Gerda Strömberg, Asta Strömberg...

One of each: Gerda and Asta?
Are you just guessing? haha :) I think the first one looks absolutely 30s and pretty avant-garde to my opinion, with all those straight lines and cutting... The second one... well, it also has a very 30s look but the design isn't as striking as that of the firt one, is it?
At this stage I'm thinking that Asta took the rough edges off Gerda's.
LOL.
Though there is that photo of seven or eight vases on the ground with the flowers!

Rebello thinks that only one of those is by Gerda, the one on the left with the beautiful furnace worked flower!
I don't know about these? Similar (not exactly) models are B 977/B988 (left one) and B 1034 (right one). I have only a few catalogues and these vases can of course be there, but without pictures? Or in other directories from other years that I don't have now. They are very beautiful and It seems more like design of 1930,s.
The vases in the link to precisensan:
The left one I have an ex of, model B 229 height 140mm by Gerda Stromberg, and here with a decoration of a furnace worked flower. The others seems to be design of Asta Stromberg and Gunnar Nylund (the vases with curved or bent up top, it's a typical Nylund style from many of his drawings from 1950,s). I would check the drawings I have and se if I can find any with same shapes as here?
Thanks rebessin. I must take new pictures* of all my glass items, so I'll try and take those of the Strömbergshyttan items first and share them here with meassures, signatures, and pics taken from different angles, so you can have every detail about them... I think I have around 24 SH items.
* I must leave my apartment sometime this year, so I must pack all my glass and before that I want to catalogue it... it's a hard work as I have almost 1000 glass items! :/
