      That is called a Full Cheek Snaffle Bit.

      I just spotted your bit Walleye17. I too pick up things just for the fun of doing a little research on them. "Show and Tell" here is is usually a big help for that.

      I saw your bit picture and remembered I have 2 laying right here that I picked up last summer. Seeing your bit "spurred me to action" and I took a few picts to post and hopefully get some help with information on them.
