I found this April 1935 issue of "The American Motor Traveler" put out by the Ohio Oil Company which was the parent company for Linco and Marathon Gas. These were probably given away in their service stations and had articles that looks like they were written by their customers. It also has photos of their gas stations in the areas that were written about. It also has an ad for Linco Batteries. Kind of neat!
