I have no knowledge of watches, but this watch was passed on to me and at one time, belonged to my Grandfather. Any information would be helpful, thanks! Oh, it isn't running, but it does appear to be in fairly good condition otherwise.

Illinois 16 size 21 jewel 161 Bunn Special pocket watch movement, date reads out at 1883.....from:http://www.oldwatch.com/illinois.html
I hope this helps. I have no idea of value........
Rail Road grade and a very good one of those, They fetch a VERY good price. Bunn Special will demand a higher price. Very, Very Nice. Thanks for sharing.
The serial number is hard to read but I'm seeing 5307482... Is that right? If so you're looking at a watch made in 1929. The Bunn Specials are a high grade railroad watch from back in the day. Go to ebay and do a search. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
The serial number reads: 3307482
I want to thank you all for your input. I definitely will hold on to this. I've really grown to appreciate watches more now!
That serial number puts it at 1918. It's a little hard to read that first number in your photos. Again, that's a real keeper. You should get it fixed and use it!
