I bought these cute dolls at an estate sale. I know nothing about them but would like to learn. They are signed on the bottom and are painted with beautiful colors. Approx. 5" tall and they seem old but in perfect condition. I am interested in the origin, value and age of these dolls. Thank you!

Can anyone translate the bottom for me?
Hi,
The boy's kokeshi bottom says "12-07-1954, Tuesday (Birthday)". Can't read the top, too light. The girl's bottom says "Mieko"...and something. It's a woman's name and I can't read the other part since it's too light and doesn't make sense.
It's Souvenir kokeshi which were produced in millions during 1950 ~ 1960's in Japan. Probably souvenir from hot springs resorts or stores that sell things for foreigners. Value? Hard to say, but between $5 and $20?
