A few of my favorite cameras the Dopel Sport was used in WW1 it was a spring timer on a mini panoramic device fitted to a homing pigeon. It flew over the French Lines took the pano image then flew back to the German lines were it was developed.
The last one is a Sutton panoramic the lens filled up with water to make the curvature The other is a sky camera and a real custom job for the wealthy gent

Hey anyone out there interested in pictures of a ton of old plastic toy cameras
I have a huge collection of those as well plus i use some of them
I am interested in seeing them.
Never seen a pigeon camera before. How do they teach the bird to change the aperture? ;)
Its a very special pigeon. They were educated at Oxford before returning to
Germany.
