Good Evening,
I just bought this at an auction. Could anyone tell me what type of handpainted porcelain bowl this is and the value of such. I looked at ebay and could not find any markings that compare to the one of this bowl.
I cant tell if it is Japanese or Chinese but it is for sure handpainted.
Thank you for any help.

Hello, the mark is Chinese. If you will rotate the bowl about 95 degrees to the right, the mark reads right to left and top down: Great Qing Qianlong Period Make (Q's are pronounced ch). The Qianlong period, also seen as Ch'ien Lung
was from 1736 to 1795. The bowl is not from that period, probably late 20th cwntury. Regards, Jim

Thanks Jim for the info. I really appreciate it. I only paid 7.00 for it and didnt think it was old but quite beautiful.
