I purchased this bayonet recently and I can't find anything about it. The only markings are on the handle and are "73846". There is also a very small "2" by the bottom of the handle. The blade is about 9" long.

I can't find anything that looks like your bayonet, but scroll through some of these Turkish Ersatz bayonets and see if one isn't close to yours. Ersatz (substitute) bayonets often had all metal handles, but where I am making the connection is the part right in front of the guard. Sometimes the Turks re-hilted bayonets, and had to move the crossguard back from the blade a little to fit their rifles.

Thanks Chrisnp, I think mine is an Ersatz bayonet.
