Wow - great!!! Are you sure its a lunch box and not a handbag?
I've seen this darling little case many times, and ones with other nursery rhyme / story scenes. I have always called them "vintage child's suitcase" -- watch for your LRRH (Little Red Riding Hood) one to come up on ebay -- http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=vintage+childs+suitcase&_fln=1
Are these cases old? They look old. What year is this one from approx.?
Beverly -- I couldn't find a resource site with info about who and when. If I had to make a considered guess, I'd say 1920s-1930s, based on the graphics.

What a great piece you have...I luv the vintage story book character's.
Love it, would like to buy it! Collect red riding hood stuff.
Dear Dianna, give me your contact info or email me at olived518@gmail.com, and we can make a deal!?
It looks like an overnight suitcase for child. I will buy it from you for the right price.
We had cases like this in the 40's and 50's and used them to store our doll clothes
in. Beautiful case!!
i just got one, in better condition overall, will send pics to anyone interested, pic different, no words, lil red in front of half moon with wolf in moon
How much did you pay for it?
$40 i paid at small auction, will send pic if interested. graphic is less cartoonish, very cool
cool i think about £60
I have that same exact lunch box. I took it to an antique store and couldn't find any information on it.
