Hello All,
Would anyone happen to recognize the mark on this pottery piece?
As nice as this is, I was most intrigued by the mark.
I hope you enjoy the wonderful photo as well, taken by Richard Avedon of Elise Daniels, in Aug. 1948.

Look like a spoon rest, I think if you look in the internet for a five point crown emblem this might point you in a different direction. Good luck.
