This ice cream cone came off a old dairy queen. i believe it was installed about 1952. It stands about 8ft tall and had a shaft that rotated it. It also looks like it had lights on the cone body and under the ice cream part. I have not seen any others like it that came from a dairy queen.

I'm guessing "Dairy Queen" isn't the name of a riverboat? LOL
I do remember, as a small child in the mid-fifties, sitting in my Dad's car, and my mouth watering at the site of one of these giant cones spinning above an ice cream store.

Love this ! and the photo of it on a dairy Queen . Where are you going to display it just wondering ? Outside ?

Right now I have it on my enclosed front porch. Debating on if i should repaint it or leave as is. There is some rust and flaking paint at the seams.
