What we have here is Steiff's Cocker Spaniel named Revue Susi. She appeared in the Steiff catalog from 1959 through 1977. Sweet Susi is 12 cm, sitting, made from blond mohair, and is head jointed. Her head is quite detailed; she has large plastic pupil eyes, airbrushed "eyebrows" and lips, pronounced doggy jowls, and floppy ears made of long, lush mohair.
Overall, Revue Susi was produced in 4 sizes - 12, 17, 28, and 35 cm. Susi was the logo-mascot for a German "People" style magazine that was published from 1946 to 1966.
