This engine was given to myself during a Voluntary Assignment in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The engine is a Diatto A Clement Engine - Motor Torino - Type DNF 30
Diatto and Clement where partners during the period of 1905 to 1909 and I believe was made in Turin, Italy - Diatto is Italian and A Clement is French.
The fuel system is a fuel vapor system and the brass cock next to the spark plug is a priming cock.
I am on many engine forums and this engine has been published in recognized publications - all is basically without any positive information regarding this engine.
