Love this jar or is it a planter?
Love the 3 black running dots on the sides that look like Trees to me! The jar makes me smile. The rich brown color is so nice and warm!
It seems to be earthenware or made from red type clay. It seems to be made from a mold from looking at the line across the bottom.
It stands about 9 inches tall and has an inside opening of about 7 inches. There is an embossed mark on the bottom that looks like an underlined K with an extended mark on the top leg of the K..or maybe it is a "lazy L" with a line under it? There are also 2 embossed marks, maybe 3 written together in a line that I cannot read.
The jar is a mystery, was my Mom's, and she died a few years ago. I don't know it's origin or anything else about it.
