This is a hand carved, painted, mother of pearl braclet linked and set in silver. It came in a box with actual "wool" as its buffer with a blue/black "stamp" on the box from a Jeweler and Merchantile in Istanbul Turkey from the 1940's when my mother in law's brother was traveling. She never wore it - it is very heavy - and after she died I took it to a jewelers to be cleaned. I wear it occasionally and have never seen another. Any information on it would be appreciated....not sure if it is considered "good" jewelry or "costume" or "good costume".
