I just got this one, it is a miniature woven basket made by the Tohono O'odham Tribe. It was made using Pine Needles and Yucca that was torn into tiny strips for weaving. It is not new, as the part used for weaving is green when first done. It takes time for the grasses and Pine to patina. The work on this is so amazing, I could never in a million years do something like this! You would need a magnifying glass just to see what you are doing while weaving this. The last picture is of the plate basket next to a tube of lip balm, so you can get how tiny this is. It is only 1 and 3/8ths in diameter. Enjoy the pics.
