Stamped into part is the following: "Maiden Dearborn 1 Pilot killed RG Kirkpatrich Argo Ill. May 18 1926 First stout plane to kill pilot." I believe the plane crashed due to bad weather. It was the first
commercial flight fatality. Belonged to my great uncle who was at the crash scene
