This is a really cool watch. But cant find any info. It belonged to my boyfriends grand father W.H. Close Jr. (prob his father's W.H. Close Sr. initials are engraved on the back) Yes related to Glen Close but distantly unfortunately. Also unfortunate my boyfriend wants to sell it :( Money is great but Ive become attached to it because Ive been doing a lot of research on it. Well... trying to do research on it. I cant find a thing quite like it! I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these? The few that i find by the same maker are jeweled or ornate or something and selling for thousands. This one is 18k gold but i don't think its worth overly much but i don't want to be taken either, if it is. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Hi,
Henry Capt was one of Switzerland's better watchmakers and produced some of the most beautiful watches and being 18k gold is a real plus. It is an expensive watch. Try to Google it before you do anything. I hope this helps a little,
Jim
Thanks so much for your tips! I am Googling my butt off! :) i think this is going to be a long process. I still cant find much except maybe the gold content might be almost 1/2 an ounce.
I did find your watch in Shugart's 2012 Price Guide on page 484. A time only gold 50-mm. pocket watch, which your's is, has a high book value of $850.
I hope this helps,
Jim
Great thanks a bunch you for doing that!
