Found this safe in a auction....Gawd it's 500lbs...was'nt looking forward
to calling my husband and telling him he had to come and get this thing in my van. Well he came and he was'nt too upset....lol....anyways, antique safes is another one of my antique and vintage loves....it's a really cool safe and I have the combo and all. Very interesting story behind the Herring Hall Marvin Safe Co, it has a decal inside that says "not to be confused with Herring Hall Marvin".....oh yeah they all had some big court battle and well I wish I knew the rest of the story lol. Great safe though, i'd like to see a thief try and pick this thing up...30"x 24" but about 500lbs.....

Beautiful piece, I always wanted a safe, this one is superb with all the compartments for valuables, something from Perry Mason!~Phil.
Hi - Great safe. It looks very close to one I recently purchased. Is the name on the dail YALE? Also, could you post a picture of the front of the day door? The safe I purchased had the lock of the day door drilled out, and I have had a VERY difficult finding the replacement lock. As a matter of fact your safe is the ONLY one I have found online with the day door lock intact--congratulations!
Thanks,
