I bought this barber pole several years ago from a barber who was retiring and closing his shop in down town Salem, OR.
I believe it is from the 1950's and still lights and rotates. Condition is pretty good.
Just an interesting side note; in the late 50's and early 60's Governor Hatfield of Oregon got his hair cut at this shop every week because it was located just a block from the Capitol.
